Last weekend sure was a blast, what with all the 4th of July festivities and all.  This weekend is going to be a hot one.  Check out the forecast below:

Events in New Orleans for Friday, July 10th,  2009.

• Minor League Baseball – New Orleans Zephyrs Vs. Omaha Royals.  7:00 PM – Cost is $6.00 to $10.00/ticket – Promotion Night!  Fireworks/Law & Order Night It’s Law & Order Night for members of law firms and police associations! Stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks show!  Game is played at Zephyr Field in Metairie, Louisiana.

• Ladies of the 80s Throwback DJ Battle: Damion Yancy vs. Force Feed Radio.  Venue: Republic in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Starts at 10:00 PM.  Description:  This is a don’t miss event featuring Damion Yancy as Madonna and Force Feed Radio as all the other ladies of the 80s.  The DJs will be in costume, dressed as popular 80s dance music icons.  There will be an hour long battle to decide if Madonna was the true queen of 80s pop!  There will be a video montage playing along with the music which will feature all female icons of the 80s from Madonna to the Baywatch babes to the Olsen twins and even Saved By The Bell hottie, Kelly Kapowski.  The cover is only $5.00.  Specials include solving a Rubik’s cube for a free tab, throwback arcade games, $2 Miller High Life beers and $4 well drinks.
• Honey Island Swamp Band CD Release Party at Hi Ho Lounge. Starts at 10:00 PM
• Bustout Burlesque Show. House Of Blues.  2 shows – 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM.  18+ age restriction.  $2.00 Tickets.

Events in New Orleans for Saturday, July 11th,  2009.

• Minor League Baseball – New Orleans Zephyrs Vs. Omaha Royals.  6:00 PM – Cost is $6.00 to $10.00/ticket – Promotion Night!  Zatarains Zaturday/Stitch & Pitch/Giveaway We’ll be giving away the team photo for the 2009 New Orleans Zephyrs on Stitch & Pitch Night. The National Needlearts Association will be on hand with fun activities, providing fans with the opportunity to enjoy needlearts, combining two timeless traditions: needlearts and baseball!   Presented by Zatarains/Orthopedic CT.  Game is played at Zephyr Field in Metairie, Louisiana.
• Bonerama at Maple Leaf.
• Dj Trashy at Club Ampersand. This is a cd release party for Dj Trashy’s new cd titled “Amped”.

Events in New Orleans for Sunday, July 12th,  2009.

• Minor League Baseball – New Orleans Zephyrs Vs. Omaha Royals.  6:00 PM – Cost is $6.00 to $10.00/ticket – Promotion Night!  Kids Day.  It’s Kids Day, with special entertainment and a chance to run the bases after the game!  Game is played at Zephyr Field in Metairie, Louisiana.
• Eat Club Dinner. Tom Fitzmorris.  Details at NoMenu.com.  You’ll find a lot of listners of The Food Show which airs on 1350 AM attending these dinners.  All inclusive price.  This meal is $75/person.  The dinner is at Crescent City Steak House.
• Why not visit one of our local attractions like City Park, The New Orleans Museum of Arts, of the Audubon Zoo?
